The One World Religion Is Here - Revisited - Part I
"And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." 1. The One World Religion Is Here
On June 26, 2000 the signing of the United Religions Initiative Charter took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You say what is the United Religions? "The United Religions Initiative (URI) is an international grassroots organization spearheading efforts towards ending religiously motivated violence and creating cultures of peace." (Note 1) This organization was created to bring all the false religions of the world together to form Satan's church. Revelation chapter 17 shows us Satan's Church, the great whore. This is the religious system Satan will use in the last days. In Revelation 17:1-6 it says "1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration."
Revelation 17:1 shows the great whore sitting upon many waters. These waters are peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues. In Revelation 17:15 it says "And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues."
Revelation 17:2-3 describes the great whore. This passage says "2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns." Revelation 17:9 explains who this great whore or woman is that is riding on the beast (The beast is the Antichrist). Revelation 17:9 says "And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth." The only place in the world that is described as having seven mountains is Rome in Italy. Revelation 17:18 says "And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth." This woman is the Roman Catholic church which is headed by the Pope. The Pope not only heads the Roman Catholic church, but he also has great influence over the false religions of the world.

We are seeing "MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH" being formed right before our very eyes under the ecumenical movement. A recent article was titled "John Paul II Returns To Stable Poland"(Note 2). This article states
"Ninety-five percent of Poles are Catholic, and 75 percent describe themselves as practicing followers, making Poland one of the most devout countries in Europe. The Pope, who is to meet on several occasions with religious leaders of different faiths -- Eastern Orthodox, Jewish, Lutheran and Muslim -- will preach an ecumenical message to a country that has not had much practical experience in reaching out."
Note that the Pope is not only reaching out to Catholics, but to people from all different religions as well. Let's look at another recent article titled "Religious Leaders Denounce Extremism" sub-titled "Dalai Lama Joins Pontiff At Ceremony"(Note 3)
In Vatican City "With Pope John Paul II presiding next to the Dalai Lama, representatives of 20 of the world's faiths closed a millennium-ending gathering Thursday with a forceful denunciation of religious extremism. Assembled in St. Peter's Square, the 200 clergy and lay people appealed to the world leaders to refuse to allow religion to be used to incite hatred and violence..........John Paul summoned representatives of the world's religions to the Vatican for one last try during this millennium at cooperation to solve the world's problems. The council is opposed by traditionalists in many religions, made uneasy at seeing their faith put on an equal footing with others. The meeting stressed differences between religions--but denounced exploiting them for violent ends."
We are seeing the beginning stages of all the false religions coming together under the Pope to form Satan's church. This is not building the church of Jesus Christ, but it is the great whore of false religions unifying with Satan to form a one world religion.
