1. The One World Religion Is Here
In a recent article titled "Pope Meets With Mormon Leader- ship In Rome to Dedicate Temple"(Note 4) it says
"Pope Fran- cis on Saturday met with the leadership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the first-such meeting of its kind, on the eve of the dedication of the churchs huge new temple in Rome. The Vatican offered no details of Francis audience with the church president, Russell Nelson, and other leaders. The Latter-day Saints said it was the first-ever meeting between a pope and head of their church, and said the two men discussed religious liberty, family and youth among other topics. 'We have much in common,' Nelson tweeted afterward. 'The differences in doctrine are real_and theyre important_but theyre not nearly as important as the things we have in common.' Nelson and the 14 elders who make up the leadership of the church, widely known as the Mormons, are in town for the dedication Sunday of their new temple. The lush complex features an oval-shaped marble house of worship crowning a hilltop and a visitor center featuring a larger-than-life marble statue of Christ surrounded by smaller statues of the apostles. The Latter-day Saints said the visit to Rome was the first time their entire leadership had gathered outside the U.S."
Also, in another recent article titled "A Church, A Synagogue and A Mosque To Share Inter- faith Complex in Abu Dhabi"(Note 5) it says
"The United Arab Emirates unveiled plans this weekend for an inter- faith complex in Abu Dhabi that will unite a church, a synagogue and a mosque. The announcement of the three houses of worship, collectively known as the ‘Abrahamic Family House,’ follows Pope Francis' February visit to the UAE, the first papal visit to the Arabian Peninsula. During the visit, Pope Francis and the grand imam of al- Azhar, Dr. Ahmed el-Tayeb, signed a declaration to form an interfaith council called The Higher Committee of Human Fraternity.
The Abrahamic Family House, set to be completed on 2022, is the first initiative by the new committee, according to media reports."
An article titled "Pope Urges World Leaders To Sign 'Global Pact' For 'New Human- ism’”(Note 6) says
“. . . .The Daily Wire reports on a plan in which the pope is inviting representatives of multiple religions, international groups and others to sign a ‘Global Pact of Education.’ He wants to ‘Hand on to younger generations a united and fraternal common home.’ There, he quotes Clinton in saying ‘It takes a village’ to raise children. The Vatican said just days ago the pope confirmed, in a video message, ‘A global educational pact is needed to educate us in universal solidarity and a new humanism.’ Lifesite News reported, ‘Vatican-backed website launched to promote the pact added: 'Educating young people in fraternity, in learning to overcome divisions and conflicts, promote hospitality, justice and peace: Pope Francis has invited everyone who cares about the education of the young generation to sign a Global Pact, to create a global change of mentality through education.' The announcement mentioned ‘one throw-away reference to the Lord,’ the report said. He said the world's inhabitants have to be proactive in education goals. Without regard to the status quo. ‘This will result in men and women who are open, responsible, prepared to listen, dialogue and reflect with others, and capable of weaving relationships with families, between generations, and with civil society, and thus to create a new humanism,’ he said. Lifesite noted some of the concerns with the announcement: ‘At a time when the right to homeschool and the right to a free choice of school are threatened, and when countries throughout the world level taxes to provide public schooling to which no Catholic parents could safely send their child, Pope Francis omitted any reference to the prerogatives of parents as the primary educators of their children.’”
