Why Is The Euro Important?

On January 1, 1999 one of the greatest fulfillments of Bible prophecy was starting to take place in Europe. The Columbian newspaper, published in Vancouver, Washington, featured an article titled "The Euro cometh: Four reasons Americans should care. " In this article it states

"After a thousand of years of strife and war, the nations of Europe will close the bloodiest century in their history by binding themselves more tightly into a United States of Europe."

Another piece of this article states: "The euro, Europe's new unit of currency will debut on Jan. 1, 1999, uniting 11 of Europe's disparate economies."

These 11 nations joining on Jan. 1,1999 are Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal with four nations possibly joining by Jan. 1, 2002. These four nations are Britain, Denmark, Sweden and Greece. These 15 nations are becoming one nation economically. The land that these 15 nations occupy is almost identical to the land occupied by the original Roman Empire from 44 B.C. to 117 A.D.

1. The European Union Financially

Another piece of this article stated "The euro could clobber the dollar. Euroland will be one of the most powerful economic forces on Earth, with an economy second in size only to that of the United States and with slightly more people."

This article showed the following comparisons of the EU-11 vs. U.S.:

As you can see with just eleven of the fifteen European Union countries united, the new euro dollar will be a huge dominating force.

2. Why Is The New Euro Dollar Important To Me As A Christian?

In both the book of Revelation and the book of Daniel , God reveals that the final kingdom will be the Revived Roman Empire. In Daniel 7:1-7 , Daniel spoke of four kingdoms that would come upon the earth. The four kingdoms are: Babylon, Media-Persia, Greece and Rome. Daniel 7:7 and 7:23-24 show us that the fourth kingdom (or fourth beast) in the Bible is the original Roman empire.

Daniel 7:7 states "After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns."

Daniel 7:23 - 24 says "Thus he said, the fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings."

Revelation 17:12-13 show us the final kingdom which is the Revived Roman Empire, also known as the European Union. Revelation 17:12-13 says "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast." This scripture also confirms that the final kingdom is the European Union, because the European Union has not come into its full power yet. It is waiting for the Antichrist.

As you look at history when the Roman Empire was in power and the land that they possessed from 44 B.C. to their largest growth as an empire in 117 A.D. there should be no doubt that the Revived Rome Empire is being re-created before our very eyes.

Memory Verses

As Christians if we want to live in victory and if we want to be able to share the Word Of God with others we must know the Word of God ourselves. Let's see what the Bible says about this. John 15:7. "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed." John 8:31.
