Is the Prophecy in Ezekiel 38 & 39 About to Happen? - Part IV
"2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,.....5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: 6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.....15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: Ezekiel 38:2,5-6 and 15"

Persia (Iran)
Persia, which is modern day Iran, is increasing its trade and military activities with both Russia and Syria.
From “Russia Starts Construction on New Iranian Nuke Plant”(Note 1):
“A Russian atomic energy corporation announced late Monday that it has formally begun construction on a new $10 billion nuclear plant in Iran amid global efforts by the Trump administration to crack down on the Islamic Republic's nuclear endeavors. The deal, which has been in the works since the Obama administration negotiated the landmark nuclear agreement with Iran, is aimed at further cementing ties between Moscow and Tehran and is being handled by Russia's state Rosatom corporation. Iran is permitted to construct new nuclear reactors and plants under the current nuclear agreement, a point former Obama administration officials disclosed to the Washington Free Beacon in January 2015, when the two countries were inking a deal to build at least three new nuclear plants in Iran. The allowance of such construction under the nuclear deal has sparked criticism from some U.S. lawmakers and nuclear experts, who have warned that these plants would provide Iran with an alternate, plutonium-based, pathway to a nuclear weapon.”
From “Israeli satellite images confirm reports of Iranian army base in Syria”(Note 2):
“The Israeli satellite Eros-B recently took pictures that confirm reports of a permanent Iranian military base in southern Syria, only 50 km (about 31 miles) away from the Israeli border. Images from an Israeli satellite published exclusively by Channel 2 News show a permanent Iranian military base outside the Syrian city of El-Kiswah, a mere 50 kilometers (about 31 miles) away from the Israeli border. These images, recently released by ImageSat International, confirm a report on BBC from earlier this week that Iran is establishing its military presence in Syria. BBC reported that intelligence sources spoke of accelerated construction in the compound recently, with more than 20 new buildings built for housing soldiers and for storing vehicles. On Wednesday, Israel's Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman warned that Israel will not allow for Syria to become an Iranian front line against Israel.”
In closing, as Russia builds more nuclear plants in Iran, and as Iran establishes military bases in Syria, we can clearly see that Ezekiel’s war is getting closer to being fulfilled.
