In this issue of The Prophetic Messenger, we will finish a message titled “Is the Prophecy in Ezekiel 38 & 39 About to Happen? - Part V.” We will continue looking at the nations that are fighting in this war.
Ethiopia, Libya and Syria
In Ezekiel 38:5 & 15, the Bible shows Ethiopia, Libya, and Syria will be fighting in this war against Israel. In Ezekiel 38:5 & 15 it says “5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:.....15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:” Notice from verse 15, it shows the war coming from the north parts, which is from Syria, through the Golan Heights area, which borders Israel. A recent article shows that Ethiopia, Libya, and Syria are part of the 128 who came against the U.S. recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
From “128 Nations Thumb Nose at Trump's Jerusalem Recognition(Note 1):
“A total of 128 United Nations members thumbed their collective nose at the United States Thursday, voting to condemn President Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, as U.S. law has mandated for two decades. Trump warned before the vote that it could affect U.S. aid. The U.S., a key provider of aid worldwide, provides 23 percent of the U.N. budget, making it by far the largest contributor. The vote in the U.N. General Assembly to formally condemn the U.S. decision regarding Jerusalem was 128-9, with 35 abstentions. Supporting the condemnation were traditional American allies such as France and the United Kingdom. Israel and less influential members, such as Honduras, Guatemala, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Togo, Tonga and the Marshall Islands, joined the U.S. in voting against it. Canada and several dozen others abstained.”
This article shows that Ethiopia, Libya, and Syria are in favour of condemning the U.S. decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
In another article, it shows Russia building a relationship with Libya as a new ally.
From “Russian Warship Hosts Libya’s Haftar As Putin Courts New Ally”(Note 2):
“Khalifa Haftar toured Russia’s aircraft carrier anchored off the Libyan coast and held a video call with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, the biggest sign yet of growing ties between the Kremlin and the eastern Libyan-based military commander. Haftar boarded the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov as it was relocating from Syrian waters to a home port in Russia, the Defense Ministry in Moscow said in an e-mailed statement on Wednesday. The ship was anchored off Libya’s city of Tobruk, according to Irrish Syed, head of the foreign media department in the country’s east. The powerful commander, who’s in conflict with the fragile United Nations-backed government in Tripoli in the country’s west, spoke with Shoigu about taking actions against Middle Eastern terror groups. He also received medical supplies for Libyan fighters and civilians, according to the ministry. A one-time ally of former Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi, Haftar, 73, controls a large swath of Libya’s territory and most of its oil fields. His tour of the Russian warship comes amid escalating tensions with the Tripoli government that risk deepening turmoil in the North African crude producer, which just started revving up its oil industry. Russia is seeking to restore some of its Soviet-era influence in the Middle East after turning the tide in Syria’s war through military intervention in support of President Bashar al-Assad. Russian President Vladimir Putin angrily condemned a NATO-led military campaign that overthrew Qaddafi in 2011 as a ‘crusade.’”
In closing, as Russia builds a better relationship with Libya, we are moving closer to this prophecy being fulfilled.

Memory Verses
As Christians if we want to live in victory and if we want to be able to share the Word Of God with others we must know the Word of God ourselves. Let's see what the Bible says about this. "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." Psalm 119:11. "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." John 15:7. "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed." John 8:31. We encourage you to put the following scriptures in your heart: Job 40:15, Romans 5:19, Isaiah 39:7, I Corinthians 6:17, Psalm 75:6, Colossians 1:9, Genesis 11:4, Hebrews 12:26, I Corinthians 7:5, I Kings 17:6. Use only the Old King James version of the Holy Bible. (If you have any questions about this please see the book New Age Bible Versions, by G.A. Riplinger ©1993, ISBN 0-9635845-0-2.)
