Russia Friend or Foe? - Revisited - Part IV

3. America's Enemies, Russia's Friends
h) An article titled “China, Russia Tout Space Partnership to Counter U.S.” (Note 18) says
“Russia declared its intention to avoid cooperation with NASA while it courts Beijing as a potential partner in space exploration, Ars Technica reported Monday. ‘Frankly speaking, we are not interested,’ Dmitry Rogozin, chief of Russia’s state-owned space corporation, said of a possible joint venture to the moon with the U.S. space agency. Comparing American moon exploration to invading Afghanistan and Iraq, Rogozin said American officials ‘see their program not as international but as similar to NATO.’ Meanwhile, Moscow announced plans for future space ventures with Beijing. ‘We respect their results,’ Rogozin said of the PRC. In space, China ‘is definitely our partner’ moving forward, he added. Other Russian officials have touted cooperation with China in recent years as the two nations collaborate on energy pipelines and transport corridors in the Arctic. ‘Today, China is our strategic partner,’ Russian president Vladimir Putin said in 2015. China has long worked to counter American interests in space. As early as 2007, the PRC tested anti-satellite missiles capable of disrupting internet and communications systems. If such an attack were successful, the United States ‘could be propelled back into the nineteenth century,’ said Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy professor and former Air Force adviser William C. Martel.”
i) In another article titled “‘Long Live Syria! Down with Assad!’ Russia’s Syrian Proxy Shouts”(Note 19) says
“Moscow used its South Syrian proxy, the Fifth Corps, to send a message to Bashar Assad in Damascus. This telling slogan was shouted on Aug. 1 in the presence of Russian officers at a passing-out parade of 1,000 Russian-trained recruits of the Fifth Corps. This militia was established earlier this year to nail down Moscow’s role as the boss of southern Syria. It rules three regions, Daraa, Quneitra and Jebel Druze. Most of the volunteers joining up are former rebels, some of them southern Syrian fighters against the Assad regime who were in Israel’s pay during the civil war. Installed as their commander is Ahmed al- Awdah, a colorful former rebel, reputed to hold a degree in English literature who is known to have changed sides more than once. Today, he answers directly to a Russian general. The Fifth Corps, most of whose recruits are Sunni Muslims, acts as a living barrier against Iranian, pro-Iranian or Hizballah intrusion or any attempts to to challenge Russian control of southern Syria. And so the slogan, 'Long Live Syria! Down with Assad!' coming from the throats of a thousand new Russian-trained Syrian recruits, at a parade attended by a Russian colonel and other officers, would have resounded jarringly in the ears of Bashar Assad and his regime. Vladimir Putin was telling him from Awdah’s Bosra headquarters in the South where the power, that guaranteed his survival by military intervention, stands today and what is planned in the Kremlin for his country and regime. If there was any doubt about those intentions, Russian officers have also been making their way to the eastern province of Der Ezzour to raise local talent for pushing the Iranian Guards out of this Syrian-Iraqi border region. Steps are therefore in motion for asserting Russian domination in the Eastern Euphrates into the bargain.”

4. Russia Friend or Foe?
We have shown through the three sections in this article that Russia is not our friend but is the enemy of the United States and is planning to attack our nation. In Ezekiel 33:2-5 it says "2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: 3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; 4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul." We have been telling people about Russia in America since the late 1980's. We preached a message in 1994 and sent it all over the nation warning the leaders in the church about this attack coming on our nation. Here are more articles confirming that Russia is an enemy of America.
a) The article titled "Russia Still a Threat, Says Defense Intelligence Agency"(Note 20) says
"The Pentagon's official line portrays America's Cold War enemy as just another friendly nation. However, its own intelligence agency says Russia remains a nuclear threat. President Bush's administration is endeavoring to sell Russian leaders, European allies, members of Congress and the American people on replacing the half-century-old strategy of mutual assured destruction with an anti-missile defensive shield......While that is taking place in the spotlight of the world stage, back at home the Pentagon's Defense Intelligence Agency is looking down the road 20 years and seeing something considerably different - and menacing.......The bad news is - because of that same good news, from where the Pentagon sits - Russia is clinging doggedly to, and betting its long-term military strategy upon, its still-enormous arsenal of nuclear-tipped intercontinental ballistic missiles. There is only one conceivable target for those thousands of holocaust weapons of mass destruction -- the cities of America."
b) The article titled "CIA Warns of Russia, China, Iran"(Note 21) says
"Even the unclassified and sanitized version of the latest report from the director of Central Intelligence to Congress paints a grim picture of a cash-strapped Russia selling dual-use technology to an increasingly dangerous Iran, China's threat, and a growing danger of terrorists using chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear materials.....Some of the strongest language in the report was reserved for Russia, the only 'entity' earning a specific recommendation: President Vladimir Putin in May 2000 amended the presidential decree on nuclear exports to allow Russia to export nuclear materials, technology, and equipment to countries that do not have full-scope IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) safeguards. Russian entities during the reporting period continued to supply a variety of ballistic missile-related goods and technical know-how to countries such as Iran, India, and China."
c) This article titled "Inside the Ring" subtitled "Russian Nuke Exercise"(Note 22) says
"Russian strategic nuclear forces are preparing to conduct a long-range aviation exercise that is expected to include aerial probes of U.S. air defenses, defense officials said. The exercise begins next week and involves long-range bomber deployments to bases throughout Russia, including the bomber base of Anadyr in northeastern Siberia near the Bering Sea and the Tiksi air base in north-central Siberia on the Laptev Sea.....Pentagon officials sought to play down the Russian exercises as routine. Other defense officials, however, said the maneuvers show the Russian military still regards the United States as it enemy."
