How Technology Is Being Used To Bring In The Mark Of The Beast

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast,or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Revelation 13:16-18

This article describes the technology that is being developed to bring in the mark of the beast.

1. From Cash To Cashless Society

In Revelation 13:16-18 it says "And he causeth all, both small andgreat, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand,or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." In this passage the Bible shows us a time when no one will be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast. But before we can get to this time there will be a system in place which I am calling the cashless society. According to a recent newspaper article titled "Euro Stakes High In NW" (see note 1) the euro came into existence on January 1, 1999. The article states

"Eleven Europeans countries fixed the value of their currencies to the euro, allowing the new unit to be used for banking and accounting transactions. Companies and individuals can start writing checks in euros."

The euro as it exists today is a cashless monetary system. There will be no tangible currency associated with the euro until January 1, 2002. This shows how easy it is to implement a monetary system without cash.

Two additional newspaper articles recently published described how the cashless system is being introduced in America. The first article titled "PreNet Foresees A Future Of Virtual Cash Transactions" states:

"The PreCash card works like a Western Union office on plastic, enabling people without a bank account to transfer money....Nine out of every 10payments in the world are still in cash. And most of those, according to a1997 study by the London Business School, involve amounts less than $10 ....PreNet's PreCash card enables consumers to pay cash for services such as mobile phone usage electronically. The card is targeted at customers who pay in cash for services as they use them, rather than on credit....Today, PreNet, Sprint PCS and RadioShack will launch the first nationwide version of the PreCash card."(See note 2)

The second article titled "American Firms Are Trying To Make Smart Cards More Attractive In U.S." states:

"Imagine a single card that lets you purchase and download an airline ticket using your PC. That same piece of plastic could also pay for a restaurant lunch, open secure doors at the office, check out books at the library. It could even become your car keys......Such is the promise of smart cards, wallet-sized plastic cards with embedded microchips that U.S. credit card issuers are rolling out in a big way in the next few months.......Thanks to the improving power and versatility of microprocessors embedded in the cards, consumers will not only be able to better protect themselves against online fraud as they bank or trade stocks. They will also be able to store digital cash, personal information, Web site passwords and addresses, and such things as loyalty coupons from merchants or frequent flyer points. As circuits onthe cards are upgraded to hold more memory and functionality, cardholders may eventually be able to store everything from driver's license information to medical insurance data and monthly rail or bus commutation tickets - all on a single card." (See note 3)

We see from the first and second articles that the goal is to remove the cash from our nation and also the world to a cashless system which is one step away from the mark of the beast.

2. The Goal: To Eliminate Passwords Through Biometrics

The next new technology being introduced to people is "Biometrics". This technology is being used to replace your ATM password and sometimes even both your password and your ATM card. A recent newspaper article titled "Army's New Password: 'Biometrics'" states:

"To fight hacks, Pentagon turns to body-based ID systems that can't be faked. A headquarters for the new "biometric" security system is scheduled to open here next week. A center that will store the digital images of soldiers' fingerprints, earlobes and other characteristics in a database is expected to open by August. Biometrics involves using computer scans to identify a person's unique characteristics, such as eyeball patterns, fingerprints and hand shapes. The scans then are stored digitally. A computer uses video cameras and sensors to match those "templates" with the patterns of would-be users." (See note 4)

Another article titled "Biometrics Are Giving Access With The Blink Of An Iris Scan" states

"Businesses are using PIN-free technology internationally and in Texas, and plans abound to make eye scans the status quo....Customers of Bank United in Houston, Dallas and Fort Worth can get cash just by walking up to a machine and looking at it. No ATM card, no PIN. Just by looking them in the eye, the machine can tell if customers are authorized to access the money they seek........Last month, biometrics reached street level, making its debut in cash machines in Texas, Italy, England, Japan, Norway, Turkey, Spain, Brazil and Germany. Biometrics will be available in more areas by the end of the year, says NCR Corp., one of the companies that makes them. They will be virtually everywhere by 2005, forsees the Gartner Group, a high tech consulting company. ....... A fingerprint has 35 measurable points that can be used for identification. The iris has 266, Shane said. The iris is the most data-rich feature on the human body." (See note 5)

From these articles we see that your body features are becoming your ID. Notice what the Bible says in Revelation 13:16 : "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:"

3. How Technology Is Being Used To Track Us And Our Communication

As the goal of removing cash to cashless the digital or virtual money can be tracked but with cash there is no record or tracking of that transaction. Have you noticed all the cameras on our stores, roads and highways? In an article titled "In Maryland Smile: It's A Red Light" states:

"Cameras across U.S. catch red-runners ....About 250 cameras are trained on intersections from Baltimore to San Diego, and that number is expected to double annually, suppliers say. Police love the ever-vigilant cameras, which they say reduce red-light running and relieve officers from intersection stakeouts. Local governments love them because they bring in millions of dollars in traffic fines. But privacy advocates worry about the introduction of yet another piece of technology to monitor the everyday activities of Americans." (See note 6)

In another recently published article titled "NSA's Surveillance Draws Scrutiny" states

"Europeans criticize agency's prying of phones, e-mail. Members of Congress, the European Parliament and civil liberties groups have begun to ask tough questions about the National Security Agency's interception of foreign telephone calls, faxes and electronic mail, the most intense scrutiny of NSA operations since the so-called Church committee probed the spy agency 24 years ago. Beginning with a report written for the 15-nation Parliament last year, public concern has been building in many countries around Echelon, the code name for a worldwide surveillance network run by the NSA and its partners in Britain, Australia, Canada and New Zealand..... Echelon gives every appearance of a program that is far broader than it ought to be and poses serious questions about constitutionality, said Rep. Robert L. BarrJr., R-Ga., who sponsored the reporting requirement. Barr, a former CIA analyst, said no one in Congress has asked the NSA hard questions about electronic surveillance since 1975, when a committee headed by then-Sen.Frank Church, D-Idaho, revealed that the government had improperly intercepted Americans' telegrams for 30 years and had eavesdropped on domestic dissidents in the 1960's." (See note 7)

We know as Christians that Satan will use this type of technology to control the world population. In Revelation 13:8 it says "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."

4. From Animals To Humans

The Columbian Newspaper, published in Vancouver Washington, printed an article in early 2000 titled "A Chip Shot For Pets." The article states:

"Local Humane Society now implants microchips in all adopted dogs, cats... A microchip, slightly longer but thinner than a grain of rice, is implanted under the skin at the back of the neck. Shelters that have the right equipment can pass a hand-held scanner over animals they receive. If a microchip is present, the scanner reads the chip's identification number, which shelter officials can use to contact a registration database in order to reach the pet owner......We felt we needed to have a little more stability before we started, Collord said. Before, a scanner could only scan one (kind of) chip. Now, the scanners are universal. That means scanners can read all three types of chips." (See note 8)

This implant is for all adopted dogs and cats. Are we so asleep that we can't see what is happening here? We start with the animals then we move on to humans. This next article will prove what I am saying. An article titled "Human ID Implant To Be Unveiled Soon" states:

"Wearers of Digital Angel® monitored by GPS, Internet. ... A working prototype of an implant designed to monitor the physiology and whereabouts of human wearers, known as Digital Angel®, is scheduled to be unveiled in October at an invitation-only event in New York City -- two months ahead of schedule. Developed by Applied Digital Solutions, the device is said to be the first-ever operational combination of bio-sensor technology and Web-enabled wireless telecommunications linked to global positioning satellite location-tracking systems...... As previously reported in WorldNetDaily, Digital Angel® is intended to serve a number of functions. In addition to locating missing persons and monitoring physiological data, the device will be marketed to the world of e-commerce as a means of verifying online consumer identity. Similar to microchip technologies currently used as electronic ID tags for pets, Digital Angel® is a dime-sized implant, inserted just under the skin. When implanted within a human body, the device is powered electromechanically through the movement of muscles and can be activated either by the wearer or by a monitoring facility.....Those attending the event in New York City will see a working, multimedia demonstration of the implant. A miniture sensor device -- smaller than a grain of rice and equipped with a tiny antenna -- will capture and wirelessly transmit a person's vital body-function data, such as body temperature or pulse, to an Internet-integrated ground station. In addition, the antenna will also receive information regarding the location of the individual from GPS satellite. Both sets of data -- medical information and location -- will then be wirelessly transmitted to the ground station and made available on Web-enabled desktop, laptop or wireless devices .......Digital Angel®, said Zhou, will be a connection from yourself to the electronic world. It will be your guardian, protector. It will bring good things to you. He added, We will be a hybrid of electronic intelligence and our own soul". (See note 9)

In Revelation 13:16-18 it says "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."
